Our itinerary below is based on a trip going from Friday to Monday flying from the UK. Day 1  

A traditional Icelandic welcome awaits you at Reykjavik airport where you will be greeted with a coach transfer to your city centre hotel. 

Grandi Hotel is our hotel of choice, not only for its contemporary interiors but its fantastic location right on Reykjavik’s main shopping street and its large conference rooms.  Take a moment to unpack, enjoy the breathtaking views outside your hotel window and have a drink at the hotel bar. 

At 6pm, relax and unwind at Hedinn Restaurant & Bar where you will be treated to a stunning range of Icelandic dishes.

Day 2: 

Get ready for a full day of action with our Golden Circle and Secret Lagoon tour. You’ll be collected at 8.20am and taken directly to the Secret Lagoon. The Secret Lagoon is located in the small village of Fludir and is a natural hot springs pool for you to completely relax and unwind in. The pool’s warm water stays at 38-40 Celsius all year and boasts natural surroundings and steam rising into the air giving the place a truly magical feeling. Throughout the area, there are several geothermal spots and a little Geysir which erupts every 5 minutes, showing off for the guests relaxing in the hot spring.

At 1pm, you’ll be whisked away to Hotel Geyser where you will enjoy a mouth-watering Icelandic lunch buffet. Hotel Geysir offers a delicious lunch buffet of seafood, vegetables and meat course including a wide range of salads, homemade soups, bread and a wide selection of delightful deserts. Coffee and tea is also included.

Afterwards, you’ll begin the famous Golden Circle tour. Combining history, culture and nature, the Iceland Golden Circle tour takes you to three of Iceland’s most breathtaking spots. First is Thingvellir National Park where you will walk among the geological wonders of the fissure zone and in the footsteps of the early Viking settlers where the Althingi parliament was founded. Then see Gullfoss and feel the mist of glacial water as it cascades down one of Iceland’s most famous waterfalls. Finally hear the bubbling of the mud pots of the Geysir and watch in awe as the geyser Strokkur blasts boiling water into the air.

Day 3:

Today is kept free so you can enjoy a day of meetings and team building exercises in Grandi Hotel’s  conference rooms.

Alternatively, you could do a half-day of meetings and enjoy a tour in the afternoon. We recommend our Whale Watching tour from Reykjavik’s Old Harbour. Our Whale Watching tour allows you to see the incredible wealth of marine wildlife just off Reykjavík’s shores. This tour is a dream for nature-lovers as it takes you straight from the capital city’s Old Harbour into the middle of the ocean to get the best views of several whale species and an array of sea birds, including the famous Puffin and the beautiful Arctic Tern. Humpback whales, harbour porpoises, and white-beaked dolphins are all common sights on this popular whale watching tour.

Day 4

Depending on what you decide to do on Day 3, you will either enjoy another half-day of meetings and an afternoon tour or a full day’s excursion.

Our afternoon tour of choice is Iceland’s Blue Lagoon. Our Blue Lagoon tour is always on everyone’s bucket lists during their stay to Iceland because of its breathtaking scenery, ultra modern facilities and impressive track record for healing. The geothermic pool of moisturising milky waters is the perfect place for one last moment of relaxation before you head back to reality.

Alternatively, enjoy a full day excursion with our South Coast & Glacier Hike tour. This tour takes you to south Iceland traveling through lush farmlands with views of powerful volcanoes, glaciers and thundering waterfalls plus you’ll walk on a spellbinding glacier landscape on Sólheimajökull glacier. You will find a combination of expansive views, jagged peaks, blue glaciers, and wide-open sky provide a steady stream of awesome photographic opportunities.

Day 5

Wave goodbye to Iceland as you catch your transfer back to Keflavik airport and fly home!
