Another 8am start with a coach transfer to Reykjavik harbour. From here you will jump aboard the 9am Whale Watching tour to see the incredible wealth of marine wildlife just off Reykjavík’s shores. This tour is a dream for nature-lovers as it takes you straight from the capital city’s Old Harbour into the middle of the ocean to get the best views of several whale species and an array of sea birds including the famous Puffin and the beautiful Arctic Tern. Humpback whales, harbour porpoises, and white-beaked dolphins are all common sights on this popular whale watching tour.

At 12pm, you’ll be back on land and have the rest of the afternoon to explore Iceland’s capital. There is plenty to see and do in Reykjavik, you definitely won’t struggle to fill up the free time. We highly recommend visiting Hallgrímskirkja church which towers above everything else, visible from almost every angle of the city and therefore making it very easy to find. There is also plenty of shopping to do in Reykjavik while the Harpa concert hall is also certainly worth a visit.

At 4pm, we suggest you head back to your hotel and start getting ready for an exciting evening of food and scenery.

At 7pm, a coach will come to collect you to take you to Videy Ferry which will then take you across the ocean for a delicious dinner on Videy Island.

At 11pm ish!, with some very full stomachs, you will catch the boat back to the mainland and then head back to the hotel by coach for a good night’s sleep.  Or if you have the stamina frequent the nightlife of Reykjavik until the early hours.
