The national team chefs in the kitchen conjure up simple but delicious dishes, using high-quality seasonal ingredients. In the front line of the restaurant Hedinn are the founders Karl Viggo Vigfusson and Elias Gudmundsson who are both experienced restaurateurs and also childhood friends. They enlisted the help of chef  Sindri Gudbrandur Sigurdsson  who composed an exciting seasonal menu.

Viggo and Elli are, as previously stated, well known in the restaurant sector in Iceland, but Elli is the founder of Glo restaurants and worked there as a manager for years. Viggo, who is a trained and respected baker and confectioner, is the founder and CEO of Blackbox, but was also one of the founders of OmmNomm and Skubb.

The signature features of Hedinn Restaurant & Bar include large private spaces, high ceilings and the beautiful daylight. The interior is elegant and has a screen for meetings and private gatherings. There are two rooms that each seats 40 people. You can also combine them and have complete privacy in a beautiful environment. The tall windows give the space natural light and a refined atmosphere to meet, dine and enjoy. The rooms are perfect for meetings, private parties, celebrity dining, etc. You can add wine tasting when booking a private space at Hedinn to give the moment more flavour.
