Dear Gareth,

Thank you for organizing our Iceland holiday. Everything went very smoothly. It lived up to and beyond expectations. I wanted to see the area where the tectonic plates are pulling apart, my sister wanted to visit the Blue Lagoon. We did both and there was more: geysers, waterfalls and glaciers. For me the highlight was the midnight sun. Anyone can see a sunset but not many people get to see it at midnight.

We had a lovely holiday and as first time travellers to Iceland it made the trip so much less stressful that someone took the decisions for us!

Hotels in general were good, favourite was the one in Fluidr where the rooms were spacious, staff were very very nice and food surprisingly good. Great base for exploring around.

Booking was easy, Gareth very responsive and helpful.

We will definitely be going back to Iceland!

I was going to do a “short” note to individually thank you for each of our amazing experiences in Iceland but it was becoming more of an essay so I’ve started again.😂Everything about the stay was perfect from your advice on the hotel and it being close to everything but far enough away from the crowds, to all the trips we did. We don’t usually do bus trips so we didn’t know what to expect but Reykjavik Excursions were so informative/patient/funny we were extremely impressed. Everything about the trip was amazing but actually seeing the northern lights was the biggest highlight, we were lucky enough to see “the dance”.

Finally if anyone I know in the furniture wants to go there I will definitely recommend you to them. My daughter is thinking of Azores next year and I’ve already told her about you.

Again thank you for planning the trip for us and for your patience with all my queries and questions. We will definitely use you again.

Incrediby Knowledgeable!

I dealt with Gareth throughout the planning of this holiday and have to say he is incredibly knowledgeable and patient! I had to change the holiday radically but he did this quickly and carefully. We booked a holiday with Gareth at Iceland Holidays after Tui cancelled a holiday booked with them at short notice. We were offered a wide variety of hotels and excursions and ended up staying at the lovely Eyja Guldsmeden Hotel. I really appreciated the help and guidance offered by Gareth and found him very accommodating and easy to deal with. Plus, the cost of the holiday and excursions came in at a lower price than our holiday booked with Tui! Great experience from start to finish. - Sharon Bullough

Oh Wow

Oh Wow ! What a fantastic holiday we had to Iceland . this was very much a new destination for us and we were a little unsure who to book with as it was all new for us . By chance my husband found Iceland Holidays on a web search ... from start to finish they were so helpful and nothing too much trouble . they arranged a wonderful trip for us and we would highly recommend them to our friends and others . 4 Day Iceland break

Iceland Holidays organized a short 4 day break round the golden circle and we can honestly say it was one of the best holiday/short breaks we have ever had. We stayed at Rejakvik for 2 nights taking in the sights and sounds .. then a drive around the golden circle taking in all the sights. Two nights at the Hotel Rangor with breath taking views !! then finally on the way home we stopped off for a great experience at the blue lagoon. - not to be missed ... Let me start by thanking Gareth

Let me start by thanking Gareth, who was my only interface I believe, for all the work that he did for us. We had been to Iceland before and we had a good idea of what we wanted to do on our trip. This was a trip with our late teen grandchildren and we wanted to make it special as we are unlikely to get to take them on holiday again. We chose our itinerary with advice from Gareth and his helpful suggestions and then reconfigured it until it was a trip that was affordable. The flight went well. The car hire pick-up was good, if a bit slow, due to the Europcar desk having queues whilst most of the rest had very few customers. We had an upgrade due to our car not being ready. The Aurora Laxnes hotel was clean and functional with a good breakfast. The other amenities were sparse. It seems to be set up to eat in Reyjavik rather than locally which does require a bit of a journey. We knew this in advance so we were OK wth it. The choice of hotels was fine with the highlight being the New Hotel at Geyser. That was a stunning place to stay (with prices to match) and added a nice touch of luxury to the trip. The other hotels were very reasonable and the one near Husavik had a very helpful and welcoming manager. The snowmobiling was very good and memorable. We probably went a little late in the season for the best snow but it was a big highlight for the grandchildren. They just loved throwing the snowmobiles around often on ice. A real touch of danger especially with grandparents on the back. The 'whale watching' was excellent as we saw some dolphins, puffins and 3 humpback whales with several sightings of them on the one trip we opted to do. A very special day for the grandchildren and us. We did see the eruptions but only on live TV. Once again, thanks for all your help.
