What you'll do
Day 1: Arrive in Iceland
Fly in from your chosen UK airport and land safely at Keflavik.
Get collected from the airport and transferred to your Reykjavik hotel
In the evening, you'll be whisked away on a special Icelandic Whale Watching tour from the old harbour of Reykjavik. Abundant summer daylight combined with a unique mixture of cold and warm sea currents that blend in Iceland's shallow fjords make the Icelandic territorial waters home to a rich variety of krill and fish, and consequently a bountiful feeding ground that attracts twenty-three species of whales.

Day 2: Langjokull Ice Cave & Glacier Adventure
In the morning you'll be collected from your hotel and taken on our Langjokull Ice Cave & Glacier Adventure tour. Here, you'll step into a glacier's heart by visiting the man-made ice cave in Langjökull Glacier. Walking inside Iceland's second largest glacier is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity and an experience you shouldn't miss. We’ll explore the tunnels for one hour, stopping at the built-in chapel. Venture deep into the heart of Iceland’s Ice Age not far from Reykjavik!

Day 3: The Golden Circle
Today you'll head south and visit the famous Golden Circle of Iceland. Our Classic Golden Circle tour is a classic for good reason. Combining history, culture and extraordinary nature, you will see Thingvellir National Park and walk among the geological wonders of the fissure zone and in the footsteps of the early Viking settlers where the Althingi parliament was founded. You will then be taken to Gullfoss and feel the mist of glacial water as it cascades down one of Iceland’s most famous waterfalls. Finally, you will witness the Geysir and hear the bubbling of the mud pots, smell the sulfur in the air and watch in awe as the geyser Strokkur blasts boiling water into the air.

Day 4: Reykjanes Geopark
On your fourth day, you'll get to explore Reykjanes Geopark located on a peninsula divided between two continents. This unique placement of the Reykjanes Peninsula on the drift zone between the North American and the Eurasian continental plates makes it a true Volcanic Wonder. You'll be driven along the Reykjanes peninsula to see the roaring Atlantic Ocean, endless lava fields, and volcanic craters. Some key sights include Fagradalsfjall Volcano, and the surrounding lava fields, Gunnuhver mud pool and Seltún mud pool. You'll have plenty of opportunity to get out the vehicle and explore.

Day 5: Wonders of Snaefellsnes
Today you'll be taken on our Wonders of Snaefellsnes tour. There is something so otherworldly about Snaefellsnes that Icelanders often associate it with spiritual experiences and folk tales. This tour provides an insight and spectacular views of this unique area where geological wonders boarder on the magical. The Snaefellsnes peninsula in the West of Iceland is almost like a miniature version of the entire island. The area has beautiful samples of some of the natural wonders Iceland is so famous for. This includes black beaches, magnificent mountains, volcanic craters, incredible birdlife, magical caves, and of course, the most picturesque glacier of them all, Snæfellsjökull.

Day 6: The Blue Lagoon
In the morning, you'll be collected to visit the famous Iceland Blue Lagoon spa. Home to one of 25 wonders of the world, Blue Lagoon Iceland is a place where the powers of geothermal seawater create transformational spa journeys. Take the time to experience the radiant powers of the water, indulge in a silica mud mask and forget all of your worries.
In the afternoon, you'll get another opportunity to go whale watching from Reykjavik's Old Harbour.

Day 7: Lava Cave & Geothermal Adventure
Today you'll be collected for our Lava Cave & Geothermal Adventure tour. From Reykjavik, the tour heads towards the beautiful Borgarfjörður area in West Iceland. It is a scenic, approx. 2-hour drive, broken up with some amazing stops. These stops include Deildartunguhver, Europe's most powerful hot spring and the magnificent Hraunfossar and Barnafossar lava waterfalls. The waterfalls are not just beautiful and serene, they also come with folk tales and myths that lend insight into Icelandic history and culture.
After a lunch break in Húsafell the tour heads to Vídgelmir cave, one of the largest natural lava caves in the world and the largest of its kind in Iceland. At 148,000 m3, it is truly a sight to behold and this guided tour inside the cave is an unforgettable experience. An adventure for the senses, the cave exhibits gorgeous, colourful lava in all its grandeur, showcasing how magma flows and lava hardens. After the cave we will return to Húsafell, where you have the option visit the geothermal pool or discover the surrounding area and take a pleasant walk through the scenic Húsafell.

Day 8: South Iceland
On your final full day in Iceland, you'll get to complete your Iceland adventure with a full tour of South Iceland. Our South Iceland, Waterfalls & Black Sand Beaches tour will take you over a spectacular mountain pass and through lush farmlands to the South Coast. Enjoy astonishing views as we drive along Iceland’s famous Ring Road, flanked by rugged mountains, glittering glaciers, and towering volcanoes. Watch out for Eyjafjallajökull, where an enormous eruption stopped the world’s air traffic in 2010! Look one way for thrilling glimpses of Iceland’s marvelous natural landscapes and sweeping panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean on the other.
You will also experience the powerful beauty of Seljalandsfoss waterfall where the river Seljalandsá tumbles off the Eyjafjallajökull glacier more than 60 meters into a deep pool. And you can even walk behind the waters to see the cascade from the other side if you don’t mind getting wet! Close by stands Skógafoss, another majestic waterfall, one of the most famous in Iceland and often featured in Hollywood movies, TV shows, and music videos! Finally, you will take a memorable stroll on one of the finest beaches in the world! Reynisfjara black sand beach has won accolades from National Geographic and TripAdvisor, and you’ll soon see why!
