Day 2: Explore Reykjavik & Northern Lights or Whale Watching
Enjoy free reign in the city on your first morning or book an optional Reykjavik sightseeing tour with us at an extra cost. You will learn about the rich history and culture that shaped Iceland by visiting the prime landmarks and attractions in and around the capital city. Sit back and enjoy educational commentary, interesting facts, and stories that relate to the most important locations in and around Reykjavik.
In the afternoon/evening, you will be escorted on a Northern Lights or Whale Watching tour depending on which season you choose to visit. If you visit during winter, you can witness the most spectacular show on earth in the most beautiful place on earth. Surrounded by incredible nature, watch in awe as the green, red and purple aurora borealis dance across the night sky.
For those visiting in summer, enjoy an Icelandic Whale Watching tour from the old harbor of Reykjavik. Abundant summer daylight combined with a unique mixture of cold and warm sea currents that blend in Iceland's shallow fjords make the Icelandic territorial waters home to a rich variety of krill and fish, and consequently a bountiful feeding ground that attracts twenty-three species of whales.

Day 3: Reykjavik Zoo
Enjoy a day at Reykjavik zoo and let the kids see animals they have never seen before! The family park section is jolly, with a mini-racetrack, child-size bulldozers, a giant trampoline, boats and fairground rides for kids.

Day 4: The Golden Circle
Drive towards the Golden Circle and explore the area. Combining history, culture and extraordinary nature, you can see Thingvellir National Park and walk among the geological wonders of the fissure zone and in the footsteps of the early Viking settlers where the Althingi parliament was founded. You can then see the Gullfoss and feel the mist of glacial water as it cascades down one of Iceland’s most famous waterfalls. Finally, you can witness the Geysirand hear the bubbling of the mud pots, smell the sulfur in the air and watch in awe as the geyser Strokkur blasts boiling water into the air.

Day 5: The Secret Lagoon & Snaefellsnes
Today will take you to Fludir where you will visit the Secret Lagoon, a man-made hot spring of natural resources located at Hverahólmi. It is the oldest pool in the country where you can sit and rejunivate in the geothermal waters.
Then in the afternoon drive towards Snaefellsnes, often referred to as “Iceland in Miniature” or “Iceland in a Nutshell”. This well-deserved nickname was given to the peninsula because of the diversity of its landscapes. The combination of breathtaking scenery, the glistening ice cap of the volcano, Snæfellsjökull, lava fields, caves, waterfalls, volcanic features, and fishing villages, make Snæfellsnes, Iceland’s smallest National Park, the most wonderful place to visit. The 90-km long peninsula is a legendary area of magic and beauty, offering the best Iceland has to offer.
