What you'll do

Day 1: Arrive in Iceland

Fly in from your chosen UK airport and land safely at Keflavik.

Get collected from the airport and transferred to your Reykjavik hotel

Take the afternoon to explore the capital and enjoy some tasty Icelandic food for dinner

Day 2: Whale Watching & Northern Lights

Take the morning to explore some of the city and then after lunch enjoy an Icelandic Whale Watching tour from the old harbour of Reykjavik. Abundant summer daylight combined with a unique mixture of cold and warm sea currents that blend in Iceland's shallow fjords make the Icelandic territorial waters home to a rich variety of krill and fish, and consequently a bountiful feeding ground that attracts twenty-three species of whales.

In the evening, you will be escorted on your first of two Northern Lights tours where you can witness the most spectacular show on earth in the most beautiful place on earth. Surrounded by incredible nature, watch in awe as the green, red and purple aurora borealis dance across the night sky.

Day 3: The Golden Circle

Enjoy a whole day of exploring the Golden Circle with our Classic Golden Circle tour.  It’s a classic for good reason. Combining history, culture and extraordinary nature, you will see Thingvellir National Park and walk among the geological wonders of the fissure zone and in the footsteps of the early Viking settlers where the Althingi parliament was founded. You will then be taken to Gullfoss and feel the mist of glacial water as it cascades down one of Iceland’s most famous waterfalls.  Finally, you will witness the Geysir and hear the bubbling of the mud pots, smell the sulfur in the air and watch in awe as the geyser Strokkur blasts boiling water into the air.

Day 4: Snaefellsnes Winter Wonderland 

Today you will be escorted on the Snaefellsnes Winter Wonderland tour where you will find a wonderland of great geothermal activity, the most photographed mountain in Iceland, charming little fishing villages and extraordinary sights. The peninsula is often nicknamed “Iceland in a nutshell” due to its vast variety in and contrast!

Day 5: The Blue Lagoon & Northern Lights

Get collected from your hotel and taken to the world famous Blue Lagoon spa in Iceland. Home to one of 25 wonders of the world, Blue Lagoon Iceland is a place where the powers of geothermal seawater create transformational spa journeys.  Take the time to experience the radiant powers of the water, indulge in a silica mud mask and forget all of your worries.  There is also the option to subsitute the Blue Lagoon tour with an alternative such as Whale Watching, the Sky Lagoon or the South Coast Waterfalls and Black Sand Beach Sightseeing Tour

In the evening , you will be taken on your second Northern Lights Evening tour to have another chance of seeing the remarkable aurora borealis.

Day 6: South Shore Adventure

Today you will be taken on the South Shore Adventure tour, perfect for nature lovers of all kinds. We take you along the south coast of Iceland, one of the country’s most scenic regions, as far as Vík, a charming village surrounded by high beautiful bird cliffs.

Among the stops on this tour are at the gorgeous Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls. Seljalandsfoss is part of the Seljandsá river, which has its origins in Eyjafjallajökull glacier. What makes Seljalandsfoss so famous and interesting is that you can walk behind it. Skógafoss, another famous Icelandic waterfall, is the starting point of the Fimmvörðuháls walk over to Þórsmörk. We will also stop at Reynisfjara black sand beach, with the Reynisdrangar rock formations and columnar basalt and Sólheimajökull and walk up to a small lake which has formed in front of the retreating glacier.

Day 7: Explore Reykjavik

For your last full day in Iceland, we give you free rein to do whatever you want. Explore the capital further at your own will or book another fantastic tour with us if you want to make the most of your time in the country!

Get collected from your hotel and taken back to Keflavik airport
