Look ahead at life after lockdown and get ready for the Iceland fly drive of your life. With its small population and hauntingly remote interior, Iceland is the perfect place to social distance. This package holiday has been specifically designed to include Iceland's most remote sites including Thingvellir, Gullfoss, Geysir, Skogarfoss and Black Beaches.

What you'll do

Day 1: Explore Reykjavik

Fly in from your chosen UK airport and land safely at Keflavik.

Pick up your car hire from the airport and drive to your Reykjavik hotel

Take the afternoon to explore the capital and enjoy some tasty Icelandic food for dinner

Stay overnight at your Reykjavik hotel

Day 2: The Golden Circle

Drive towards the Golden Circle and explore the area. Combining history, culture and extraordinary nature, you can see Thingvellir National Park and walk among the geological wonders of the fissure zone and in the footsteps of the early Viking settlers where the Althingi parliament was founded. You can then see the Gullfoss and feel the mist of glacial water as it cascades down one of Iceland’s most famous waterfalls. Finally, you can witness the Geysirand hear the bubbling of the mud pots, smell the sulfur in the air and watch in awe as the geyser Strokkur blasts boiling water into the air.

Day 3: South Iceland

Enjoy another day around the Golden Circle and explore more of the region. We highly recommend you check out Reynisfjara black sand beach, the most famous beaches on the South Coast of Iceland. Its beautiful black sand, powerful waves, and the nearby Reynisdrangar sea stacks make Reynisfjara a truly unique place to visit and a popular filming location for the likes of Game of Thrones and Star Wars.

Day 4: Reykjavik Sightseeing

Drive back towards Reykjavik and enjoy your last full day in Iceland taking in the sights. You can enjoy an optional Reykjavik sightseeing tour at additional cost with us where you will learn about the rich history and culture that shaped Iceland by visiting the prime landmarks and attractions in and around the capital city. Sit back and enjoy educational commentary, interesting facts, and stories that relate to the most important locations in and around Reykjavik.
