What you'll do

Western Iceland, Snaefellsnes & Isafjordur twin centre.

Day 1. Arrive in Iceland

Arrive Keflavik. Collect rental/hire car or transfer by fly bus. Stay 2 nights in Reykjavik.

Day 2. The Golden Circle

Spend day in town or drive the Golden Circle. Then onwards to Hveragerdi. Return to Reykjavik.

Day 3. Snaefellsnes Peninsula

Drive along the coast road in a westerly direction onto Snaefellsnes Peninsula via Borgarnes. Stay 3 nights in a hotel in Snaefellsnes.

Day 4. Snaefellsnes

Explore Snaefellsnes (optional skidoo ride on Glacier).

Day 5. Whale Watching

Go on a whale watching trip into the Atlantic from Olasvik Harbour.

Day 6. Ferry to Flatey Island

Take the boat with your car from Stykkisholmur in the early morning which stps on the way at Flatey Island to the south shore of the western fjords. Boat arrives at midday. Drive on to

Isafjordur and stay 3 nights.

Day 7. Western Fjords

Explore the majestic western fjords.

Day 8. Explore West Iceland

Day at leisure.

Day 9. Back to Reykjavik

Drive back towards Reykjavik and stay one night in the area of Borgarfjordur at Reykholt or Glymur.

Day 10. The Blue Lagoon

Explore Reykjavik and stay your last night in town or near the airport and the Blue Lagoon.

Day 11.Fly Home

Fly home to UK.
