Whale Watching & Blue Lagoon

Looking to cram your Iceland break with fun then we can combine a trip to the Blue Lagoon with a Whale Watching trip from Reykjavik Harbour and still leave time for dinner in Reykjavik before a night cap. Whale Watching at 9 o'clock and Blue Lagoon in the afternoon after 3 o'clock

Take 2 tours in one day. Go in the morning to The Blue Lagoon and then take a Whale Watching trip in the afternoon.

The Blue Lagoon Express is the easiest way to visit the Blue Lagoon. The quickest and easiest way to the Blue Lagoon!

The Blue Lagoon Express is not to be missed while you are in Iceland. The Blue Lagoon's warm water and natural active ingredients; mineral salts, silica and blue green algae help you relax and unwind while the Blue Lagoon white silica mud gently cleanses and exfoliates the skin. The mineral salts balance and relax body and soul.

The Blue Lagoon Express offers the ideal way to visit the Blue Lagoon. Other departures are available all year at 10:00, 11:00, 13:00, 14:00, 16:00 and 18:00. Return times are always flexible. Enjoy all that the Blue Lagoon has to offer in your own time.

Included: Bath fee to the Blue Lagoon.

Pick up at hotels and guesthouses 30 minutes prior to departure. Drop off after day tours may sometimes not be right in front of your hotel/guesthouse due to narrow streets and actual coach size used during the tour.

Whale watching tours are operated from the old harbour in Reykjavik. The whales most frequently seen on tours are the Minke whales, Humpback whales, Dolphins and Porpoises other speces are sometimes spotted.

Special suits are offered on board for comfort and warmth, but we advise you to wear your warmest clothes including hats, scarves, gloves etc. as it can get very cold, even on the warmest days.
Hot drinks and light refreshments are available in the on-board café.

If you are cold you can sit inside the boat, where you can watch the whales outside from large windows.

Excellent guides will tell you about your trip and describe what you can see and where to look, together with an introduction and safety guide.  They will tell you about the seabirds and nature in the Faxofloi bay.  How much you see depends on the sea conditions and season, but qualified guides are happy to try to answer all your questions.

Although they rarely have to go further than 15 nautical miles from the harbour, no two whale watching trips are the same.  Please be aware of the need to be flexible and organize your trip taking sea conditions, weather and seasons into account.

Each trip takes about 2,5 - 3,5 hours; Picking up from hotels and guesthouses, warm suites on board the boats and guidance. Departure times winter 1300 hours   summer   1300  and 1700 hours    available everyday.
