Situated on the east coast of Iceland, in a renowned spot for its magnificent nature and landscape, sits Fosshotel East. The hotel is a historic building built in 1903 that was previously used as a hospital for French fishermen until 1939, until the house was disassembled and moved. In 2008 it was reassembled into the hotel it is now. It now includes a museum and a French inspired restaurant devoted to the French fishermen.
