Hofsstaðir Country Hotel is a family-run country hotel situated in a quiet location in a beautiful setting on the banks of Héraðsvötn overlooking the fjord and the sea.

Hofsstaðir offers 30 rooms, 26 sqm with bath and terrace. We offer as well 3 rooms with a private bathroom at Hofsstaðir farmhouse. At Hofsstaðir Country Hotel is a restaurant where we use local produce and ingredients from the area.

Here you can stay and enjoy the tranquility that the countryside has to offer with all services and entertainment in Skagafjörður at your fingertips. The countryside is on road no. 76 just 18 km from highway 1.
