Hotel Laxa

Hotel Laxá was opened June 19th 2014, the hotel is located in a quiet location 2 km from Mývatn and a 30-minute drive from Goðafoss and Krafla geothermal area . It offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with modern décor.

All rooms at Hotel Laxá are equipped with a flat-screen TV and satellite channels, a kettle and a seating area. The bathrooms come with free toiletries and a hairdryer.

Hotel Laxá has an in-house restaurant, Eldey, which serves delicious food made from Icelandic ingredients. There is a cozy bar area at the hotel with a great view of Lake Mývatn and its surroundings.

The nature baths are a situated 20 minutes from the hotel and Húsavík (the capital of Whale watching) is a 45-minute drive away. The hotel can assist guests with tour booking and advise them on what to do in the area.
